Louis Hernández from Black Dragon Capital: We are looking for leaders to transform and inspire the industry

Black Dragon Capital is a venture that has not only positioned itself as the investment fund with the greatest yield in the market, but it is a new model to drive leaders to change the industry, expressed Louis Hernández, CEO of the company.
Louis Hernández, who was CEO of Avid for five years and led the company to a deep transformation spoke with PRODU about Black Dragon Capital’s work to finance projects that change the face of content technology.
“What I wanted to do is help other entrepreneurs to be successful in their businesses and that is why I partnered with people who already had that capital. The concept is: entrepreneurs helping other entrepreneurs to be successful in helping develop a business. Whether we invest in media or technology companies we will only invest in companies that know they will be successful,” assured Hernández.
“Until now we have 13 investments in which we have been successful with good profits and return. We are in the 5% of the funds that have the best yield.”
He assured that the projects they support is because they solve a big problem in the community and must be sure that the entrepreneur is trying to help the industry. “They have to have the character to lead and inspire. We do not like dominant industries, but those that inspire”.
