Jimena Gállego made her debut as host of Premios PRODU 2022 together with Alan Tacher from Miami. “It is an award very important for the industry and being invited to join an award ceremony that celebrates the entire industry, as well as hosting alongside Alan Tacher, who is a colleague that I love and respect very much, makes me very happy and I am enjoying it. every moment of this broadcast,” she said.
Gállego has also been among the winners with recognition for La Casa de Los Famosos, which became a turning point in her career. “I feel very blessed to share this award with so many, including Héctor Sandarti, my colleague who was the one who received it; with Telemundo and EndemolShine Boomdog. We are a team of more than 300 people”.
Tacher, who is the host of Premios PRODU for the second time, commented that last year he was conducting from Buenos Aires “in a long transmission, almost until dawn, fascinating.”
He stressed that he loves the fact of so many awards. “There are many awards that are not considered in any other type of award. I’m glad because of the number of people behind this production that the public has no idea about and that makes me very happy to be here”.
He pointed out that these awards are different “in every way”. “It is streaming when usually it is on open TV; there are many more prizes than in others that I have participated in; the winner’s speech can be longer and the most beautiful thing about this is that everyone who is nominated has the opportunity to speak, not just the one who wins. It gives you a little more familiarity.”
