The Madrid Derby delivered 824,000 Total Viewers across both English and Spanish language beIN SPORTS’ networks

beIN SPORTS dominated the airwaves last weekend delivering the #1 sports telecast among all Spanish language networks on 9/13, according to Nielsen Media Research. beIN SPORTS Español’s live broadcast of match-up between Spanish powerhouses, Real Madrid and Atlético Madrid, was rated the #2 soccer telecast and the #4 sports telecast among Spanish language cable networks for the week.“These viewership numbers prove that beIN SPORTS’ family of networks provides sports fans with exactly the right mix of programs and sporting events they crave, in English and Spanish. Our network is committed to making the most exciting sporting events accessible to our passionate base of enthusiasts in a culturally relevant manner,” said Antonio Briceño, deputy managing director of beIN SPORTS USA. On Saturday, September 13th, the Madrid Derby delivered 824,000 Total Viewers across both English and Spanish language beIN SPORTS’ networks. The match was the #2 soccer telecast of the day among English language networks, outperforming 11 of the 14 Major League Baseball games, and all Major League Soccer matches that aired for the week across English networks.Among Spanish language sports cable networks, the Madrid Derby on beIN SPORTS outdelivered all Liga MX matches airing on Univision Deportes Network for the week of 9/8—and topped competitive sports networks, including all telecasts that aired on ESPN Deportes and Fox Deportes for the week of 9/8.
