beIN SPORTS announced that Roy Meyeringh, VP of Business Development and Affiliate Sales of the company in US and Canada, has been awarded the prestigious NYC Television Week’s 40 Under 40 Award.

Every year NYC Television Week’s 40 Under 40 Awards recognize media innovators who are redefining the media landscape in an age of change.

Meyeringh earned this recognition due to numerous accomplishments in this competitive industry and the key role he has played in the success of beIN SPORTS.

He supervises the digital, marketing, and research divisions of beIN SPORTS and also focuses on the identification and execution of strategic business solutions that further organizational performance both in the US and Canada. Under his watch, beIN SPORTS’s brand equity grew exponentially through the successful negotiation of over 50 affiliate agreements, driving subscriber growth from seven million to 44 million across all major MVPDs and vMVPDs.

“I’m both honored and grateful to be named among the most influential players in the industry in receiving this award,” commented Meyeringh. “beIN SPORTS MEDIA GROUP continues to work hard to inspire new visions for the future of our network through various multimedia platforms.”

He will be recognized by the organization among other honorees at an event taking place on October 30th, 2019.
