Busy Bee Productions announced the start of production on Jenicka’s Journeys, a new travel docuseries starring Jenicka Lopez for LatiNation Media (LATV and LatiNation app). Filming is underway in Southern California and across key destinations that reflect the emotional, physical, and cultural terrain of Jenicka’s path to discovering her truest self. This marks an expansion in unscripted series for LatiNation from Busy Bee, building on the partnership that began with Chiquis’ successful travel docu-series Foodie on the Go, now in its second season.
The six-episode series follows the youngest daughter of the iconic artist Jenni Rivera as she steps out of the shadows, out of her comfort zone, and into a season of self-discovery. Through travel, candid conversations, and shared experiences with family, friends, and powerhouse guests, Jenicka’s Journeys offers a deeply personal look at what it means to grow, heal, and redefine your story.
“This show is about more than travel—it’s about transformation. We’re watching Jenicka explore independence, face her fears, and celebrate every version of herself. Her vulnerability is what makes this series so powerful—and so relatable,” says Executive Producer Sebastian Jiménez.

Each episode dives into a central theme—from family dynamics and body confidence to courage and gratitude. Highlights include appearances from major creators and artists, including Snow Tha Product, Mayra & Karina Garcia, and Shawty Bae, as well as sister, global star, and Executive Producer Chiquis, who joins Jenicka for a nostalgic and heartfelt two-part premiere.
“Watching my little sister step into her own power has been emotional—and inspiring,” says Chiquis. “She’s owning her voice, telling her story, and doing it on her terms. I’m so proud of her, and I know people are going to fall in love with her journey.”
The series builds to a moving finale in which Jenicka—newly Lagree-certified—hosts her first fitness class for close friends and family. In a celebration of growth and gratitude, she reflects on the lessons of the season and the strength it took to show up as her full self.
“I didn’t want to just create a show—I wanted to create something real,” says Jenicka Lopez. “This series is me being fully honest, stepping into fear, and learning that growth doesn’t always look perfect. I hope it inspires someone to take their own first step.”
