Carla Estrada of Televisa: Hoy will continue to be a morning magazine, but will have World Cup overtones

The morning show Hoy, produced by Carla Estrada, which airs Monday through Friday from 9am to 12pm on Canal de las Estrellas, joins the World Cup coverage starting Thursday June 12th. It will include comedy segments, special Sunday shows and reporting from Brazil by its main host Andrea Legarreta.The show will continue to be a magazine, but will have World Cup teeth. When Mexico plays well provide more exposure. Weve added a Sunday show to provide further coverage and well have Andrea Legarreta as our correspondent from Brazil, said Estrada.The show will add the section Miembros sin aire, where comedians Jorge Ortiz de Pinedo, Mauricio Herrera, Polo Polo and Rafael Inclán, will perform funny sketches taking place in a game room where they will gather to watch and analyze soccer in a very particular way.What were doing is what we always do whenever Mexican get together to watch a game. This is a historic moment for the country and were devoting ourselves to this World Cup that everyone will be watching, said Ortiz de Pinedo.The entertainment section of Juan José Origel, the numerology, the cooking recipes and special capsules will continue to be part of the show, but now will be focused on the World Cup.The official hosts will be Galilea Montijo, Héctor Sandarti, Raúl Araiza, El Burro Van Rankin, Malillany Marín, Jean, and Juan José Origel.
