Castalia Communications: We are producing our entirely first fiction series in Mexico

Luis Torres-Bohl, president and CEO at Mexicanal, and founder & president of Castalia Communications announced at the 2016 INTX that they are in the process of developing their first non-scripted series. The show will be produced entirely in Mexico.“We’re developing this project now. We’ve hired several screenwriters and a Mexican writer that will be developing the story. It’s possible this series will be distributed first in others screens before than in Mexicanal. We still don’t know if we’re producing it for third parties or for us. It’s our first fiction series. We’re very excited and it’s very ambitious for a small channel like ours to reach such level of production, which requires a great effort” he said. Torres-Bolh, together with Sky Bridges, COO of APTN Canada are developing the new All Nations Network (ANN) in the U.S. – represented by Castalia in this market. “This channel will be offering information, news and entertainment to 6 million native American who need a voice that was denied until now in the country’s media.”
