Celebrity Chef Aarón Sánchez (MasterChef) has just released a Big Game–ready episode of his un-scripted digital series, La Comida del Barrio, exclusively on COCINA, spotlighting the Latino-owned restaurants and food trucks that will be feeding fans in Santa Clara during Big Game weekend and beyond.
The episode follows Aarón on a barrio food crawl through Santa Clara, from Sonoran-style Mexican classics and panadería favorites to barbacoa tacos he declares “what you have before the Big Game.” Along the way, he even takes a literal pass at football.
It’s a culture-forward, food-driven story about the neighborhoods and people behind the flavors that define game-day eating.
La Comida del Barrio follows Chef Aarón’s hit Hulu series Talking Sabor.
La Comida del Barrio is an un-scripted digital series that Chef Aarón Sánchez and COCINA (producer) developed as a return to his roots -20 years since his first best-selling cookbook La Comida del Barrio was released. Aarón visits neighborhoods (barrios) around the country to explore the communities, legacy and food that formed culture, history and identity. The series is available exclusively on COCINA, the leading latino lifestyle platform.
