Círculo Creativo USA announced that Verónica Elizondo has been elected President and Javier Osorio Vice President for the 2026–2027 term, marking the beginning of a new phase of growth and expansion for the organization.

Verónica Elizondo, Chief Creative Officer at Conill, brings more than 25 years of experience in advertising and design. Since joining Conill in 2005 as an art director, she has led memorable campaigns for brands such as Burger King, Alaska Airlines, Aflac, Budweiser, T-Mobile, and Toyota. Her work has been recognized at Cannes Lions, D&AD, The Clios, The One Show, FIAP, El Sol, and the Effie Awards. Digiday named her among the “5 Hispanic agency creatives you should know.” She is the creator of Toyota’s iconic “Más Que Un Auto” campaign, which celebrated the brand’s tenth consecutive year as the leading automaker among Latinos and generated the highest volume of user-generated content in the brand’s history.

Elizondo began her professional career in her hometown of Monterrey, Mexico. After spending a summer in Milan, Italy, where she completed a graphic advertising program, she moved to Miami, where she finalized her art direction portfolio.

A firm believer in teamwork and continuous learning, Verónica is rarely without her camera, sketchbook, and signature orange marker.

“I’m incredibly happy and grateful to take on the presidency and continue contributing from a new role,” said Verónica Elizondo. “Círculo has been key for me, both professionally and personally, so leading it today alongside Javi Osorio and with the support of our regional leaders and co-leaders is an honor. Our focus will be on expanding this community and continuing to celebrate the creativity and strength that define the Hispanic market—a market I’m deeply passionate about. Previous administrations have left us a strong legacy that we are now responsible for nurturing and growing.”

Javier Osorio is a creative director and copywriter with more than 20 years of experience in the advertising industry. He has worked at multiple agencies for both global and local brands, and his work has been recognized at festivals such as Cannes Lions, FIAP, Effie Awards, Radio Mercury Awards, New York Festivals, and Communication Arts. He has also served as a juror at El Ojo de Iberoamérica, AdStars, National Addys, Radio Mercury Awards, and the Effie Awards, among others.

Outside of work, Osorio is a technology and coffee enthusiast, an ’80s vinyl record collector, and a keyboardist in a cover band with exactly three followers—very loyal ones.

“Over the past few years, thanks to the leadership of Virgilio Flores and his team, Círculo gained much greater visibility and relevance within the industry,” said Javier Osorio. “Now it’s our turn to build on that great work while also using that platform to expand Círculo’s reach—not only by representing Hispanic agencies’ work, but through a more disruptive, broader, and more diverse presence. In this new phase, regional initiatives will play a key role. We want to build local communities of Latino creatives working in the industry, both in the Hispanic and general markets. The goal is to become a space that truly empowers them through collaboration, networking, and meaningful connections. For me, it’s both an honor and a great responsibility to take on this role alongside Verónica Elizondo.”

Virgilio Flores, outgoing President of Círculo Creativo USA and Group Creative Director at Alma, shared:
“I’m very happy that Verónica is the new President of Círculo. Beyond being highly respected within the industry and the market, she has grown within this business, deeply understands the Hispanic market, and I’m certain she will do an outstanding job. Javier Osorio, on the other hand, is a great friend of many years—someone with a solid career who is deeply respected and well-liked, and who I’m confident has left and will continue to leave a meaningful mark on this market. One of the things I’ve enjoyed most about being part of Círculo is the opportunity to get to know even more incredible people I admire, and Verónica and Javi are a perfect example of that.”
