Xfinity TV customers will have access to 5,000+ episodes from more than 130 series from 48 premium, cable and broadcast networks

Comcast announced plans for its second Xfinity Watchathon Week, which brings together the hottest content from the biggest networks for free on Xfinity On Demand. Customers can watch the entire current season of hit shows like Bates Motel, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, Chicago PD, The Mindy Project, Nashville, Suits and The Walking Dead and go back to the very beginning of acclaimed series like Black Sails, Game of Thrones, The Good Wife, Friday Night Lights, House of Lies, Parks & Recreation and Parenthood. For Latino customers, Xfinity Watchathon Week will also feature its first ever selection of Spanish-language content. In total, Xfinity TV customers will have access to over 40 percent more choices this year: 5,000+ episodes from more than 130 series from 48 premium, cable and broadcast networks including Spanish-language programmers El Rey, mun2, MundoFOX, Telemundo, UniMás and Univision, many of which are available across Xfinity On Demand platforms (TV, Xfinity.com/TV and the Xfinity TV Go app for tablets and smartphones). Popular Spanish-language series available during Watchathon Week include Combate Américas, El Capo 3, La Impostora, La Voz Kids, Nuestra Belleza Latina, Qué Pobres tan Ricos and Welcome to los Vargas. Latino Xfinity TV customers can catch-up on hit Spanish-language shows as well as English-language shows like Awkward, Californication, Orphan Black and Veep before their new season premiere in April. “We are proud to build on the success of last year’s inaugural Xfinity Watchathon Week and to be able to expand our offering this year to include a selection of Spanish-language series for our Latino customers. Television viewing continues to be a popular pastime among our Latino customers and their families and we look forward to continuing to provide to them greater access to their content of choice in English or in Spanish across more screens than ever,” said Rubén Mendiola, VP and general manager of Multicultural Video Services.
