Cristina Garza, SVP Development and Production VP at Endeavor Content, is focused on two main areas: the development of content for Latinos in the US in English and bilingual and premium content in Spanish for Latin America and the international market.

Garza, who comes from the financing area of Creative Artists Agency (CAA), joined Endeavor Content this year, invited by Alexis García, director of the Film Department. “I wanted to do more development and production and Endeavor Content, which already financed and developed Latino contents, wanted to produce. They invited me to work with all the departments in the studio: cinema, TV, and documentaries” commented Garza, who recalled that the company has financed projects such as the film Blue Miracle by the director Julio Quintana, which was a total success on Netflix and Ice Box for HBO about migration camps. Additionally, they partnered with Exile Content on the production of the series Todo Va a Estar Bien, by Diego Luna, for Netflix.

Currently, Endeavor Content is working on several projects: a series in Chile, a book they are adapting in Argentina, as well as the production of a series in that country, and a series on books that are being adapted for Spain. “We are buying a lot of books, IPs, articles in magazines, podcasts, and looking for producers and scriptwriters to develop them for us” she explained.

She highlighted that the studio has a great deal of experience producing in the US and around the world, but that they are also open to collaborating with local producers. “We are in negotiations with local producers for the projects in Chile, Spain, and Argentina,” she said.
