Evaluna is the first big novela from Venevision Productions in HD

Evaluna, currently being shot by Venevision Productions, LLC for Univisión, will be the first telenovela produced at the Venevision Studios in Miami entirely in high definition.We already have the studios for the telenovelas: Studio A is fully running in high definition, as well as with two mobile units. We started shooting Evaluna entirely in HD. Its our first big novela in high definition, said to PRODU, Peter Tinoco, President of Venevision Productions.Tinoco explained the Venevision Studios facilities in Medley have five studios: two are dedicated for the telenovelas, two for talk and variety shows, and one for other productions.With the goal of bringing us up to date technologically, next year we will have all studios running in high definition; this way all programming coming out of Venevision Studios will be HD. This represents about 1,500 hours of programming annually, which are distributed worldwide by Venevision International and air on Univisión, added Tinoco.
