Gantiva now assumes a key role as director of Marketing and Communications at RCN International Channels

With a five-year track record as the creative director of Canal RCN, Giovanni Gantiva now assumes a key role as director of Marketing and Communications at RCN International Channels.

In his previous position, Gantiva led an extensive team of creative talents, where they developed promotional campaigns that successfully captivated and sustained audience attention.

Part of Gantiva’s work was reflected in the creativity of successful RCN productions like Rigo, Leandro Díaz, Betty la Fea La Historia Continúa, and La Casa de los Famosos, among others, “which generated vibrant anticipation and conversation before their release,” strengthening the presence of these series on platforms such as Amazon Prime Video, Netflix, and ViX.

In his new role, Gantiva is implementing marketing strategies to strengthen projects like the RCN Total app and FAST channels.

His mission is to achieve broad coverage and penetration in international markets and ensure that RCN productions maintain their cultural relevance and appeal.

Gantiva highlighted to PRODU the “success in the testing phase of the RCN Total app in various international markets,” as a prelude to a prominent launch in the U.S., expected in 2025.

The success of RCN Más, the company’s FAST Channel specializing in telenovelas, reflects the impact of these strategies, with more than 500,000 hours viewed monthly in the U.S. Hispanic market and distribution on leading platforms like Roku and FuboTV. With this new position in the International Channels area, Gantiva and his team aim to continue expanding RCN’s influence, projecting its content offerings to global audiences, with a special focus on the Colombian and Venezuelan communities residing abroad.
