Hemisphere Media Group wraps final production of Mi Perfecto Ex to debut on Canela.TV

Mi Perfecto Ex (My Perfect Ex) will premiere on Canela.TV as part of a five-feature film contract with Hemisphere
Hemisphere Media Group has completed the production of its latest feature film, Mi Perfecto Ex (My Perfect Ex). The romantic comedy, directed by Yahayra Garrido, features an all-star cast consisting of Marjorie de Sousa, Mark Tacher, Rodrigo Guirao, and Julia Gama.
The movie, which began production in early January, took place in various locations throughout Guadalajara and Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.
“We are excited to announce that Mi Perfecto Ex will premiere on Canela.TV as part of a five-feature film contract. This agreement represents an important milestone for Hemisphere Media Group and demonstrates our commitment to delivering quality content to the US Hispanic and Latin American audiences,” said Jim McNamara, vice-chairman at Hemisphere Media.
Mi Perfecto Ex tells the story of Cata, played by Marjorie de Sousa, who decides her relationship with her lazy boyfriend Javier (Mark Tacher) needs a temporary break, with the hopes that he will return begging for a second chance. However, when time passes and Cata receives no news from her ex-boyfriend, she decides to take her break at a luxurious beach resort. To her surprise, she runs into Javier, who has undergone a stunning transformation and is about to marry someone else!
Under the direction of Yahayra Garrido, Mi Perfecto Ex was produced by Yahayra Films with Sofía Garrido as Executive Producer. The screenplay, by Sol Levinton, captured the essence of this funny and moving love story.
