Inter Draws Top Industry Talent to Accelerate Global Product Expansion

4 de abril de 2025

Inter  announced several strategic senior appointments designed to reinforce the company’s global product capabilities and further accelerate the expansion of its Global Account solution, which currently serves more than 4 million customers in Brazil, the United States, and, most recently, Argentina.

The new executives include Kasia Szymanska, who joins as Head of Product Manager Global Account; Ralph Boragina, appointed as Head of Cross-Border; and Mariana Broetto, who will oversee product development for cross-border solutions; and Phellipe Brant as Head of International Product Engineering. Collectively, they bring extensive industry expertise from leading global companies such as Accenture, American Express, Apple, Citibank, and HSBC, positioning Inter to enhance and differentiate its global financial offerings.

Earlier this year, Inter recently welcomed Marco Araujo as Chief Legal and Compliance Officer. Araujo brings deep international market experience from senior leadership roles at HSBC, Santander, and Nubank, where he played a pivotal role in its successful public offering.

These appointments strengthen Inter’s seasoned leadership team at its North American headquarters in Miami, Florida, joining João Vitor Menin, Global CEO; Santiago Stel, Chief Financial Officer; Cassio Segura, Managing Director of International Markets; Ray Chalub, Chief Operating Officer; Guilherme Ximenes, Chief Information Officer; and Kaio Philipe, Chief Business and Marketing Officer—all integral leaders driving the company’s growth strategy from Miami.

“Inter’s ability to attract accomplished professionals from globally respected institutions is a testament to our position as an innovator in financial services.” said Cassio Segura, Managing Director of International Markets, “Leveraging their industry expertise will allow us to continuously refine and scale our global products, ensuring we remain ahead in serving the evolving needs of our international customers.”

Inter began its U.S. expansion nearly three years ago, marked by strategic acquisitions of Usend (cross-border transactions) and YellowFi (mortgages), and now serves hundreds of thousands of U.S. clients across several states. The company has also forged key strategic partnerships to strengthen its presence and visibility, such as securing naming rights to the Inter&Co Stadium—home to Major League Soccer’s Orlando City and Orlando Pride teams and soon to host the FIFA Club World Cup. Additional partnerships include collaborations with AWS, Apple, Brightline, Miami’s The Underline, and OpenTable, among others.

Reflecting Inter’s significant local contributions, Miami-Dade County Mayor Daniella Levine Cava recently presented the company with the prestigious “Key to the County,” recognizing its leadership in innovation and regional economic development.
