Joe Uva, Chairman of NBCUniversal Hispanic Enterprises and Content, Lia Silkworth, EVP, managing director for Tapestry, Starcom MediaVest Group and Marla Skiko, EVP and director of Digital Innovation for SMGs Multicultural Division, will be the keynoters for the morning sessions at the 11th Annual Hispanic Television Summit, presented by Broadcasting & Cable and Multichannel News at the New York Marriott Marquis Hotel on Wednesday, October 2, 2013.Uvas opening keynote interview will set the tone of the Summit by addressing this years theme, Exploring the exploding Hispanic television business. This focus is reflective of the current state of the fast-paced industry. The growth of the Hispanic segment is exploding due to rise in population, popularity and variety of content choices, as well as the increase in advertisers and their ad spend. In the mid-morning keynote session, two advertising leaders in the Hispanic market, Lia Silkworth and Marla Skiko, will be interviewed together in a unique conversation about whats next for traditional and digital video advertising in the wake of expanding viewer options in a multiscreen environment.The Hispanic Television Summit is the signature event for those in the business of television intended for Hispanic viewers.
