Joe Uva resigns from Univision

Univision Communications announced that Joe Uva, President and Chief Executive Officer, has informed the Board of Directors that he has chosen not to renew his employment agreement in order to be able to seek other opportunities.Uva’s departure will become effective upon the end of the current term of his employment contract, April 2, 2011.Univision will commence a search process for a new CEO immediately. Haim Saban, executive chairman of Univision will assume additional responsibilities until a new CEO is appointed.Other responsibilities will be assumed by Randy Falco, who joined Univision in past January as COO. Previously, Falco had held the position of chairman and CEO of AOL.
