Combining the genres of telenovelas and horror, CIC Media is producing the series María Entre Todos Los Muertos. It was recently announced at the mun2 Upfront and, according to creator Marlon Quintero, its a difference maker.Were thrilled mun2 chose this story because it has been well received. Its interesting because it combines horror with the telenovela, and the goal is for the series to have a big impact. It has a great premise and a great story and were confident it will be a hit, said Quintero, general director of CIC Media.He mentioned this is an original story of his own and its a difference maker in the content spectrum; it will surprise the audience. More than a radical change, its an alternative. María Entre Todos Los Muertos is a story of love, suspense, action and horror. It takes place in a Mexican town and revolves around María, a young woman who has to survive in the middle of a zombie epidemic.
