Nu and Inter Miami CF Announce Historic Multi-Year Partnership and Nu Stadium Naming Rights

A new era in soccer begins today in Miami with the announcement of a historic, multi-year partnership between Nu—one of the world’s largest digital financial services platforms with 131 million customers—and Inter Miami CF, the current MLS Cup champion. The agreement establishes Nu as the club’s Main Partner. It comes at a pivotal moment for both organizations as Nu accelerates its international expansion into the United States and Inter Miami CF strengthens its position as one of the fastest-growing and most influential clubs in global sports.

A cornerstone of the agreement is that Inter Miami CF’s new, state-of-the-art stadium at Miami Freedom Park will officially be named Nu Stadium. This places the digital banking leader at the heart of one of the most ambitious sports and entertainment developments currently underway in the United States, scheduled to open on April 4, 2026.

Designed for year-round enjoyment, the stadium—seating 26,700 spectators—will serve as Inter Miami CF’s home ground while also hosting concerts of various scales, corporate and private events, and a wide range of additional sporting events, including friendlies and competitive matches. Nu and Inter Miami CF will create immersive experiences for fans and customers through curated programming and exclusive access.

For Nu, the partnership marks a significant milestone in its international growth strategy and reinforces its long-term commitment to the United States. The agreement follows Nu’s application for a national bank license with the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) in September 2025 and its conditional approval 121 days later.

For Inter Miami CF, the partnership adds to the club’s on-field success led by eight-time Ballon d’Or winner Lionel Messi, elite international talents such as Rodrigo De Paul, Luis Suárez, and Germán Berterame, as well as rising local stars like Noah Allen and Ian Fray—all while further cementing the club’s status as a global powerhouse. With Nu Stadium at its core, the collaboration reflects the growing intersection of finance, technology, and culture shaping the future of global sport.

Beyond stadium naming rights, the agreement includes a broad portfolio of premium assets. Notably, Nu’s logo will appear on the back of the Inter Miami CF jersey—one of the best-selling kits in global soccer—as part of a new league asset set to debut in August 2026.

The historic partnership was celebrated on the night of March 3 when Nu Stadium came to life, illuminated with a pink heartbeat representing Inter Miami CF intertwined with purple veins symbolizing Nu—serving as a vivid reminder that the club’s new home is not just steel and concrete, but a living part of the city. A drone show also lit up Miami, marking the first heartbeat ahead of the inaugural home match on April 4, when the energy of Inter Miami fans will fully bring the stadium to life.

Nu will also feature two signature spaces inside Nu Stadium at Miami Freedom Park: the Nu Club, a premium hospitality lounge for 770 guests featuring a glass tunnel view of players as they walk from the locker room to the pitch; and the Nu Plaza, a dynamic community hub designed to host brand gathering spaces, a giant screen, and relaxation areas—creating a vibrant public space at the center of the district.

With Nu Stadium set to open its doors, Miami’s heartbeat grows stronger.
