Martha Contreras, VP of Business Development for the Americas and Europe at Orasi Media commented that after Orasi’s alliance with multiple dubbing/subtitling partners, they offer real-time subtitling and voice-over in 50+ languages, which is ideal for live events such as Live News, Live Sporting events, Live Awards ceremonies, etc.
Contreras commented that it applies very well in the case of television channels or streaming platforms that want to enter another territory. “These dubbing services are an integral part of our distribution services enabling our clients to acquire content as well as localize the same through Orasi without having to identify different vendors. We have recently concluded a POC for a major news channel in the US for live subtitling and voice-over of their channel 24/7 in Spanish,” she said.
She explained that the service will be very effective for all the live channels who want to broadcast in different countries in local languages and can increase the viewership (and hence the revenue) considerably.
