PBS International: The appointment of Sabrina Hall Aguirre as Sales Manager reflects commitment to expanding business in LatAm

The executive officially began her duties on March 1st and will represent PBS International at MIP Cancun later this year

In a strategic move to strengthen its presence in Latin American markets, PBS International has promoted Sabrina Hall Aguirre to Sales Manager.

Leveraging her industry experience, cultural knowledge, and connections in Latin American territories, Hall Aguirre is well-positioned to establish partnerships and drive content sales in the region.

As the first addition to PBS International’s sales team in over a decade, Aguirre brings a unique set of skills and experiences to her new role, where she will be responsible for overseeing existing partnerships, forging new relationships, and shaping the company’s sales strategy to bring PBS International’s high-quality factual and children’s programming to Latin America.

“Sabrina’s promotion reflects our commitment to expanding business in the Latin American region and strengthening our sales team,” stated Joe Barrett, VP of Global Sales at PBS International.

“I am thrilled to lead PBS International’s efforts in Latin America and utilize my knowledge and experience to bring high-quality programming to audiences across the region,” said Hall Aguirre.

Hall Aguirre’s promotion coincides with the launch of PBS Distribution’s first lineup of high-quality local-language content tailored for the Latin American market, with additional Spanish-language titles scheduled for release throughout 2024.

The carefully curated listing comprises a wide range of genres in PBS International’s core content pillars such as history, nature, science, and children’s programming.

Highlighted titles include Lyla in the Loop, AI Revolution, Fly with Me, and Origins of Easter Island.
