Punta Fina Studios & Womack Studios Structure A US$47 Million Proprietary Fund For Development & Production

Raúl Prieto (Co Founder, Punta Fina Studios), José Carlos Conde (CEO, Womack Group), Juan Bernardo González (COO, Punta Fina Studios), Enrique Rubio (Director, Womack Latam), Rosa Clemente (Co Founder, Punta Fina Studios), Toto Martínez (CEO, Punta Fina Studios, and Antonio Carreto (COO, Womack Group)

Punta Fina Studios announced a strategic partnership with Womack Studios to create a proprietary fund of US$47 million aimed at the development and production of series, telenovelas, and films for the Latin American and U.S. Hispanic markets.

The initiative marks a significant shift in Punta Fina’s positioning within the regional audiovisual ecosystem by integrating financial capacity into its traditional creative studio and development model. The fund, backed by Womack Studios (a company of the Spanish-based Womack Group), will make it possible to present projects with secured financing from early stages—an important advantage in a context of increased selectivity by platforms and channels.

Unlike a production company focused solely on execution, Punta Fina maintains its core identity as a creative studio, now with the ability to co-invest, co-develop, and accompany projects through to production, aligning editorial vision and financial viability from the outset. This structure allows the company to participate as both a creative and financial partner, propose IPs developed with a defined production framework, and establish more balanced partnerships with OTT platforms and broadcasters in the region.

Womack Studios contributes its expertise in financing, production, and international expansion. The Spanish company has consolidated a model that combines direct investment, editorial development, and production across different territories, in both fiction and non-fiction. The capital (equivalent to approximately €40 million) will be allocated to projects conceived under co-production schemes and designed for regional and international circulation.

The fund opens new opportunities for Latin American production companies, creators, and screenwriters by narrowing the gap between idea creation, development, and production, offering platforms and channels a partner capable of presenting projects with clearly defined IPs, advanced development, and a structured financial framework.
