From the same writer of El cartel, Juan Camilo Ferrand, Telemundo premieres its newest original production, La diosa coronada, this Monday, July 26th at 10:30pm.La diosa coronada is directed by Rodolfo Hoyos and Miguel Varoni; the executive producer is Hugo León Ferrer. The cast is lead by Carolina Guerra along with actors Arap Bethke, Margarita Reyes, Valentina Lizcano, Carolina Gaitán, Jhon Mario Rivera, Carlos Humberto Camacho, Jonathan Islas, Luces Velasquez, and Katherine Porto.La diosa coronada follows the history of Raquel Cruz (Carolina Guerra) who is tired of being poor. At her young 21 years of age, Cruz has been blessed with the body of a goddess, an angelic face and a captivating personality. She registers to be a contestant in the National Tourism Beauty Pageant and sets out to win the pageant, no matter what it takes.Cruz marries Genaro, who ultimately leads her to become involved with his ties to the Mexican drug-trafficking business. This new endeavor takes the woman to a new level of luxury that she was never been capable of imagining. Her motivation and ambition take her as far as becoming the partner of one of the most powerful narcos of the country.
