The Tenth Annual Hispanic Television Summit to present new award in light of tenth anniversary

The Tenth Annual Hispanic Television Summit will take place on Wednesday October 3 from 9 am to 7pm at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in Times Square, New York City. The event will feature panel discussions and informative keynote presentations by top executives and on-air personalities from pay TV providers, broadcasters, programming networks, production companies, advertisers, and agencies.The award for Achievement in Hispanic Television will also be presented to one outstanding person who has been responsible for generating profitability for the Hispanic TV industry. Past award recipients include boxing champ Oscar de la Hoya, TV Hosts Don Francisco and Cristina Saralegui, journalists Jorge Ramos and Maria Celeste Arraras, sportscaster Andres Cantor, and advertising execs Monica Gadsby from SMG and P&Gs Edgar Sandoval. In light of the tenth anniversary, a new award for Leadership in Hispanic Television will be introduced. The award will be presented to one company or organization in acknowledgement of their tenacity and commitment to serving the Hispanic viewing audience.
