Ultra Fiesta, Latin music, high-definition channel of the Olympusat channel portfolio, distributed in the US and Puerto Rico, will place on the air a block dedicated to Latina singers, starting Monday, April 15 for two weeks.

“As a sample of what has been gender equality in the world of music, we have decided to create a block as a tribute to all the female singers that have earned their place in the competed Hispanic world of international song. Starting Monday, April 15, for two weeks, on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, women take over the musical blocks at 12pm and 7pm,” comments Luis Jairala, presenter, producer, and manager of Ultra Fiesta. The singers include Nati Natasha, Karol G, Becky G, Lali, Alejandra Guzmán, Ivy Queen (pioneer of the genre), among many others.

He expressed that the initiative of the block “is a test to see how it works,” and there are plans to organize more special blocks, highlighting what is currently going on in the world of entertainment.

“We have grown to become one of the main sources of information on musical trends of all genres. We are up to date on content matters. We have access to the most top artists and have great credibility, both professionally and with the audience. We have managed to create a very close interaction with our audience on social networks,” he said and added that they have an average of 100 thousand followers on social media and the YouTube channel already has more than 5 million videos viewed.

He added that now the goal is to continue acquiring the newest musical videos, interview the most famous artists and cover the most popular events.
