Fans of the dance competition ¡Mira quién baila! have the chance to vote for the best-dressed dancer

Building on the success of their first-ever Spanish-language interactive television (iTV) experience created especially for the 2010 FIFA World Cup, Univisión has partnered once again with DISH Network L.L.C. to offer fans of the competition show, ¡Mira quién baila! (Look Who’s Dancing), the opportunity to vote for the best-dressed dancer each week using their remote controls.Through Nov. 21, DISH Network subscribers watching the show will see an interactive banner on their TV screens; by pressing “select” on their remote controls, viewers will be taken to an interface on their TV screens that allows them to vote for the dancer who they think has the best fashion sense that week.“Fashion is a big part of the ¡Mira quién baila! experience for our viewers, so we’re thrilled to partner with DISH Network to deliver such a relevant and entertaining interactive experience,” said Jennifer Ball, senior vice president of Affiliate Marketing & Distribution, Univision Communications Inc.“Our ability to deliver this unique experience speaks to DISH Network’s commitment to delivering innovative and relevant content to the Latino community. Based on the overwhelming response to the interactive program we designed with Univisión for the World Cup, we know there is strong consumer interest in these types of experiences, and are excited to create more interactive applications for our Hispanic subscribers,” said Alfredo Rodríguez, vice president of Latino Marketing, DISH Network.
