Uno Productions, company founded by Luis Medina, with 28 years operating in Los Angeles, just revamped its core talent management business by adding a new division for the representation of executives, and behind-the-scenes talent such as writers, producers and directors. The company boasts a roster of 120 talents across all areas, from an Alicia Machado or an Héctor Soberón for a fiction, to hosts for local L.A. channels like Gabriela Teissier from Univisión 34 and Elba Dunia from Telemundo 52. From successful writers like Charo Toledo with the Hulu series East Los High, to Telemundo sports commentator Carlos Hermosillo, who is expected to play a role in the coverage of the upcoming 2018 World Cup.“We’re in a position to offer talent for all television needs. We found the opportunity to represent writers, producers, directors, commentators, news anchors, and athletes,” Medina told PRODU in a interview from his Toluca Lakes office, where the company has operated since 1994.
