Venevision Productions forms alliance with Shine Latino´s Cristina Palacio to produce the teleseries Ruta 35, la vávula de escape

Venevision Productions, the Cisneros Media production company based in Miami, announced an alliance with renowned executive producer Cristina Palacio of Shine Latino for the development of a new teleseries –Ruta 35, La Válvula de Escape– targeting the U.S. Hispanic market, but with a universal appeal to foster its international distribution. “This partnership with Cristina Palacio strengthens our commitment to continue providing high quality original content under the Cisneros Media brand. We have established a new management team that has implemented the strategy of investing resources for the creation and development of innovative content to satisfy the needs of Hispanic audiences,” emphasized Juan Carlos Sosa, EVP of Operations of Venevision Studios. As for the Colombian executive and veteran television producer, Palacio remarked: “It is a pleasure to work with Venevision Productions. I value their years of experience in this market, along with their state-of-the-art facilities and incredibly talented team. It’s a perfect fit.” Palacio recently served as president and founder of BE-TV, a production company based in Bogota, Colombia. She was responsible for the development and production of a number of highly successful shows, such as Los Infiltrados, El Cartel de los Sapos, La Isla, Las Muñecas de la Mafia, and Minuto Para Ganar, among others.
