ViendoMovies estrena Los perros
ViendoMovies, premieres this Saturday, March 28, the Chilean-Argentinian movie Los Perros. At this time, when people are requested to be at home, the channel presents an attractive collection of contemporary movies worth watching, in line with its mission of showing the best films from the Spanish language industry.
The movie is directed and written by Marcela Said, and tells the story of Mariana (Antonia Zegers), 42, a sophisticated woman from the rich Chilean society who, apart from having an art gallery, takes riding lessons with Juan (Alfredo Castro), 60, a former army colonel with an old connection to the Chilean dictatorship. Mariana is attracted to Juan, and one day she discovers his dark past, his involvement with the dictatorship’s abuse and his relationship with her father at that time.
Among the most outstanding nominations and awards that Los Perros obtained are the Goya Awards, San Sebastián Festival, Cannes Festival, Platino Awards, Fénix Awards, among others. This recognition testifies to the movie’s quality.
During the month of March, Los Perros premieres along other releases: El Fútbol o Yo (Argentina), El Desentierro (Spain), Averno (Bolivia), Reinbou (Dominican Republic), Utopia (Peru), Histeria (Mexico), Mosh (Dominican Republic).
