The second season of Chiquis Sin Filtro will premiere all 12 episodes simultaneously
ViX announced today that its docuseries Chiquis Sin Filtro, starring Chiquis, will return for a second season on March 20, exclusively on ViX Premium. The second season will premiere all 12 episodes simultaneously.
Filmed in an intimate, close-up documentary style, the new season offers unprecedented access to Chiquis as she navigates a period of profound personal and professional transformation. Shot at her home in Los Angeles and in destinations including Paris, Cabo San Lucas, and cities across the United States, the series captures deeply personal conversations about identity, motherhood, family responsibility, and emotional growth.
Season two opens as Chiquis enters a time of major transition, both personally and in her music career. Viewers follow her through spiritual self-reflection including a cleansing ceremony with a shaman and unexpected moments of joy, including surprising a fan by officiating at their wedding.
After more than a decade spent caring for her siblings, Chiquis steps into a new chapter of her life as a newlywed with her husband, Emilio. The couple shares their honeymoon with the cameras, offering moments of joy, vulnerability, and connection that echo throughout the series as they build their life together and face new challenges as partners.
Professionally, Chiquis makes a pivotal move by not only leaning into a pop-folklorico sound in her music but also deciding to release music independently and taking full ownership of her work a bold shift in both her business and artistic direction.
