Dejando Huella is a creative campaign powered by an animated short film and amplified through original programming across Discovery en Español, Discovery Familia, Hogar de HGTV, and CNN en Español
Warner Bros. Discovery U.S. Hispanic is set to leave a mark this Hispanic Heritage Month with a signature television event and cross-platform campaign that celebrates transformation, creativity, and identity. At the center of the initiative is Dejando Huella, a striking creative campaign powered by an animated short film and amplified through original programming across Discovery en Español, Discovery Familia, Hogar de HGTV, and –joining to this multichannel initiative for the first time– CNN en Español.
“Dejando Huella is more than a campaign: it’s a cultural event that captures the scale, emotion, and spirit of Hispanics in the U.S. For nearly 30 years, we’ve celebrated Hispanic Heritage Month with authenticity and pride, honoring the audiences we are dedicated to serving 100%,” said Hortensia Quadreny, VP of Programming, Warner Bros. Discovery U.S. Hispanic.
Dejando Huella centers on a stylized one-minute animated film that brings to life the stories of four real-life Latino changemakers whose inspiring journeys embody resilience and achievement:
●Michell Stella, who journeyed from crossing the Darién jungle to walking the runways of New York Fashion Week.
●Diana Trujillo, who rose from the streets of Cali, Colombia, to lead NASA teams exploring Mars.
●Edgar Barrera, who grew up in a Texas border town and went on to become a 26-time Grammy Award winning songwriter and producer.
●Priscila Coronado, who made history as the first Latina president of the Harvard Law Review, starting from a humble Latino home.
With bold color contrasts, surreal proportions, and symbolic transitions, the piece’s visual style reinforces the campaign’s message: every step matters, and every mark we leave can inspire others.
The creative piece comes to life through 30-second cutdowns, infographic carousels on social media, and GO app activations, ensuring the campaign makes an impact across screens and platforms.
