Secuoya Studios and Telemundo Studios Forge Global Content Alliance

Secuoya Studios and Telemundo Studios have entered into a global strategic partnership to develop, produce and finance premium Spanish-language content for international audiences.

The multi-project agreement establishes a long-term collaborative framework that strengthens the complementary capabilities of both companies across their key markets: the United States, Spain and Latin America.

The partnership lays the foundation for ongoing collaboration between the creative teams of both studios, with a strong focus on original content and a flexible creator-led model that allows additional creative talent to be brought into individual projects whenever it enhances their development.

As part of this collaboration, Secuoya Studios and Telemundo Studios will jointly build a robust pipeline of new global intellectual property (IP).

Under the agreement, Telemundo Studios will hold a first-look option for distribution rights in the United States, while Secuoya Studios will have first-look rights for Spain and Portugal, maximizing the commercial potential of projects across strategic territories.

The collaboration also contemplates the use of international financing structures, including production incentives, an area where Secuoya Studios has built a strong infrastructure across Spain and Latin America. Combined with Telemundo Studios’ leadership in Spanish-language content production for the U.S. Hispanic market, the partnership will enable the development of ambitious, large-scale international productions.
