Audio Treehouse Launches With a Total-Market Approach to U.S. Audio

José Villafane is launching Audio Treehouse on September 1, 2026, marking his third audio network launch in 15 years and introducing a new company built around a total-market approach to audio.

Audio Treehouse positions itself as a Total-Market Audio Solutions Media Company, connecting brands and agencies with audiences across platforms and at the moments when they are most engaged with audio. Its goal is to simplify audio buying in an increasingly fragmented media landscape while helping advertisers improve reach, audience retention and ROI.

“Hispanics are mainstream. Icons like Bad Bunny and Peso Pluma are among the top 10 most-streamed artists globally, influencing fashion, film and sports,” said José Villafane, founder and CEO of Audio Treehouse. “To capture a larger share of advertising dollars, we must utilize platforms that scale and seamlessly integrate our culture into the total market.”

Villafane brings nearly three decades of experience across media strategy and advertising sales to the new venture. He previously co-launched Entravision Audio Solutions and Nueva Network, businesses that he says collectively generated an estimated $300 million in revenue while achieving double-digit growth in a flat or declining market.

“We achieved this by educating Fortune 500 brands on the power of radio and delivering instant results,” said Villafane. “Major brands like Progressive, Home Depot and McDonald’s recognize that radio works, and Audio Treehouse is designed to help other brands leverage that potential.”

A total-market approach to audio
Audio Treehouse will launch with 3,000 audio channels, 98% coverage of the U.S. and one billion monthly social media impressions. The company aims to bring together broadcast radio, streaming, digital, programmatic, social media and other audio platforms under a single solution for advertisers.

According to Villafane, the opportunity comes from a persistent disconnect between audio’s ability to reach and retain audiences and the share of advertising investment it receives.

“While audio achieves the largest reach, audience retention and ROI, it historically receives the smallest share of media ad dollars,” said Villafane.

The company is particularly focused on the role of Hispanic culture within the broader U.S. media ecosystem. Rather than treating Hispanic audiences as a separate segment, Audio Treehouse is positioning them as an integral part of the total market.

“Hispanics are mainstream,” said Villafane. “The opportunity is to use platforms that can scale while integrating culture into the total market.”

Building the company with AI and an experienced leadership team
Audio Treehouse was co-founded by Villafane and his wife, Cindy Villafane, who brings more than 20 years of experience in corporate finance and operations across media, advertising and global organizations. Her background includes financial management, accounting, compliance and business operations, with previous experience at Omnicom Group, Thomas Pink, Novo Nordisk and broadcast media organizations.

The company is also using a proprietary AI workflow across marketing and PR, operations, finance, creative development and RFP management, with the aim of streamlining internal processes as the business scales.

Villafane’s own experience spans broadcast radio and television, streaming, digital, programmatic, social media and live events. He has led $100 million-plus business units and national sales organizations, while working with CEOs, boards, investors, agencies and Fortune 500 advertisers.

His focus has consistently been at the intersection of audio, advertising, technology and audience strategy, with particular expertise in the U.S. media and multicultural marketplace.

With Audio Treehouse, Villafane is applying that experience to a model designed to connect fragmented audio inventory with the audiences brands increasingly want to reach—and to make the medium a larger part of the total-market advertising conversation.
