La prision de la memoria: Luis Miguel Messianu’s first book of poetry

Luis Miguel Messianu, president and CCO of Alma, announced in an exclusive to PRODU the upcoming publication of his first book entitled La prision de la memoria. Accompanying him in this personal project and in the credits is the Miami-based Mexican photographer Elena Ehrenwald, and the book is expected to be published this January.La prision de la memoria is a book of photographs and poetry written by Messianu. “This is a personal project that I’ve been working on for several years, a great achievement that gives me immense pleasure and satisfaction, and which was created together with Elena Ehrenwald” Messianu said. “It’s a book of photography and poetry that has a lot to do with how the memory impacts our lives, how it helps us live but also the way it helps us remember” he said.The introduction to this literary work was contributed by Cuban writer and journalist Carlos Alberto Montaner, while Eladio Robertson aided the project as editor. “Speaking in this book is the essence of Luis Miguel, which is that of a writer. I’ve always said that what got me into advertising was my passion for writing. There’s a line I love which says: “I have lived to write and have written so I could live” Messianu said.
