McCann Worldgroup names Alex Lubar its new global CMO

McCann Worldgroup announced that Alex Lubar, until now its chief marketing officer for North America, has been promoted to global CMO.At the same time, Chioma Adubais joins McCann’s flagship New York agency from Grey as New Business Group director.Harris Diamond, chairman and CEO of McCann Worldgroup, says that “what makes Alex so effective in business development, in addition to tenacity, is that he relishes the complexity of brand challenges in today’s complex business environment and he knows how to harness resources to create innovative multiplatform solutions”.For her part, Chioma Aduba comes to McCann New York from Grey in the same city, where she was marketing account director for business development since November 2011, successfully winning and defending accounts in more than a dozen pitches. She previously occupied positions related to business development at Havas PR and JWT, and was brand marketing manager at Sports Illustrated.Chris MacDonald, president of McCann New York, says that “Chioma is a smart and high energy leader and is a fantastic addition to the McCann team”.
