Tr3s: El consumo de alcohol para los millenials es una alternativa de entretenimiento

When it comes to drinking, many ask: What are the preferences and habits of young Hispanic adults? Tr3s has gone deep into a new study, soon to be released, of millennials between ages 19-34, as well as into Simmons data, to understand their drinking habits. The Millennial Generation sees drinking alcohol chiefly as entertainment, not as a treatment. Non-Hispanics, however, are twice as likely to feel the need for a drink after work to ease the stress. Many millennials prefer informal bars and restaurants because they cost less than nightclubs and lounges. They like inclusive places with easy access and nothing in the way of requirements or restrictions.Drinking at home is inexpensive and fun. Popping open a beer or mixing cocktails amid all the comforts of home is a cheaper way to go – that’s how eight out of every 10 young Hispanic and non-Hispanic adults take their booze.Approximately seven out of every 10 Hispanics and non-Hispanics between ages 18-34, who are drinkers, say they do it for fun.Around 45 percent of millennial adults say their favorite tipples are beer and hard liquor. Wine is the least liked, but its popularity is growing, so that now one out of every four drinks wine.Of all beers, Corona is their first choice, while tequila and vodka are their favorite hard liquors.
