Carlos Menéndez, Jorge Jácome y Francisco Losada, creativos ascendidos a la nueva posición
The Miami-based multicultural agency Zubi Advertising recently announced a restructuring of its new organizational pyramid by creating the position of associate creative director. We recently promoted three creatives to the position of associate creative directors, a position we never had in Zubi. The decision seeks to spur a little more creativity in the group. We previously jumped from senior creatives to creative directors, but now we have another level, which is a way of enriching the creativity and being a little more effective, the executive creative director of Zubi, Ivan Calle, told PRODU.Carlos Menendez, Jorge Jacome and Francisco Losada are the creative directors promoted to the recently debuted position. The three selected creatives are very focused and their priorities are the big ideas and our current mission of raising the level of creativity for our clients. Of the three, some have been in the agency for some time and the other much less, which shows that opportunity is equal for everyone, he said.According to Calle, the new position also seeks to promote individual growth within the agency. In the past, a senior position was the last link in the chain, while the intention of this restructuring is to make it all more of a ladder, so that as people acquire knowledge and expertise, they have the chance to climb upwards in the same agency, he said.
