Aplicaciones de mensajería: La nueva cara de los medios sociales

IPG Media Lab published the study Messaging Apps: The new face of social media and its meaning to brands. The study provides a general vision of the messaging ecosystem, including case studies and the best established practices. The 28-page report is the result of two years of intense research and interviews with key influentials and messaging apps developers.”Brands are looking for digital platforms to influence consumers. Messaging apps will be a great part of how things will be done in the future. This report is a map of the environment and the basic rules to get involved in the matter”, said Melvin Wilson, Head of concept plan at IPG Media Lab. Last November, IPG Media Lab developed and started the One direction kik card, an example of the great potential messaging apps have as a powerful tool that can drive, involve and stimulate brand actions in an innovative way. From the first three months of its launch on, it already has had over 885,000 installations and 2.4 million visits. IPM Media Lab provides agencies and media operators the power to seize the opportunities of emerging communications, offering them expertise, resources and consulting services. IPG Media Lab publishes the content of their research for media owners, clients and partners, regularly.
