Fabio Seidl, VP and executive creative director of Lapiz / Leo Burnett, talked to PRODU about the recent changes being made in the creative field in the company; and also took the opportunity to express his feelings about obtaining several awards of great renown. “We are excited, these awards give us the impulse to continue playing with the imagination” Seidl said in relation to the three silver CLIO awards in the category of Radio by the public service project, Mujeres latinas en acción (Latino women in action). He also said that there are good reasons to continue celebrating, since they won two bronze awards at the Shark Awards, and recognition in the Chicago Latino Film Festival.Surely Lapiz is having a good time, as they describe it. They are using their vast experience in the Hispanic market in the USA to experience changes to other emerging cultures in Latin America, Mexico and the general market. “This is a time of globalization, development and evolution of the agency, including changes, we are expanding our digital universe,” Seidl said.Taking advantage of today’s digital boom, the agency is increasingly focused on technological areas, especially mobile. “This is all very new,” the spokesman said, while ensuring that they are already working for the Ministry of Tourism of Mexico, Kellogg’s, Purina, Silk, among others. “We are talking every day about strategy, creativity, innovation technology; we will have many surprises soon, good news and good results to share,” he concluded.
