Tribute for Bob Greenberg in the Cannes Lions Festival

The Cannes Lions organization announced that Robert “Bob” Greenberg, founder, president and CEO of the R/GA agency, will receive a tribute in the 2015 festival, with the Lion of St. Mark award, an accolade that acknowledges extraordinary people in the creative world.”The Lion of Saint Marks is an award that recognizes an outstanding individual, a person whose dedication and vision has helped to shape the future of the industry”, says Terry Savage, president of the festival.Under Bob’s leadership, the firm R/GA has received 60 Lions, thus becoming one of the most successful integrated marketing services companies, which encompasses the creation of everything, new products up to digital services and social media and mobile campaigns.”This is a man who reinvents his agency business model every nine years to make sure they are aligned with the technological changes. He has created several state-of-the-art visual effects”, says Savage.When speaking of his award, Greenberg adds, “throughout my career and each personification of R/GA, I have always strived to ensure that creativity is at the heart of everything that is done. I feel honored that the Cannes Lions Festival recognizes my efforts are worthy of this reputable award and includes me among such distinguished company.”The awards ceremony will take place Saturday June 27th in France.
