Yahoo ventures into improving mobile experiences through products that are more personalized and inspiring. That is what Matthew Harris, Hispanic US Market Sales Director at Yahoo assures, when pointing out that one of the aims that distinguishes the brand consists in embracing the mobile world.“In 2014 we announced the acquisition of Flurry, a leader in the industry in what refers to mobile analytics. This step reinforced our commitment of building and supporting useful, inspiring and beautiful mobile experiences. By joining Yahoo, Flurry now has the resources to accelerate the production of platforms that may help developers build better applications, reach the right users and explore new income opportunities.Together we are improving Yahoo’s mobile experiences through more personalized and inspiring experiences”, he says . Regarding new projects for this year he says that they have bet on diversification in the market. “We have worked on our lovely mobile applications, which go from Yahoo Mail to Yahoo News and Weather. We added Tumblr, BrightRoll and Flurry to our portfolio of products and invented and grew our sources of income such as the Gemini Native Ad business.In the last months they have seen a strong growth in video. “During the first quarter of the year, video sequences were almost duplicated quarter to quarter up to an 89%. Our team will focus mainly on continuing to increase our investment businesses in mobile, video, native and social”.
