Gustavo Lauría of Círculo Creativo: Working all together is key for the Hispanic market future

Manuela Walfenzao | 8 de octubre de 2015

Gustavo Lauría, president of Círculo Creativo, talked to PRODU about their 2015 growth during the fifth anniversary of the society. “Working all together is key for the Hispanic market future. That includes not only agencies, but also production houses and others. It’s a little hard to achieve that integration, but I believe that we’ll get there soon enough” he said. They have plans to include production houses as judges of the Craft category at the 2016 U.S.H. Idea Awards. “This will make them feel much more a part of the Círculo. We also want to keep incorporating each sector of the industry. We’d love for planners to get closer, and we’re working with Marco Vega to achieve this. In the other hand, we’re thinking about adding new categories to the awards” Lauría said. Lauría describes the award as the Círculo work icon. “It’s the annual summary, but many things are happening behind that aiming to try to bring enthusiasm and make people feel part of it. It’s not easy because we all are far away from each other and communication doesn’t flow very well, but I receive at the Círculo emails with ideas and suggestions of people wanting to take part” he added. “All are good signs and the best of all is that we beat the registration record for the awards this year. The great middle term challenge is trying to include more brands.”
