Nunchaku’s director, Ariel Dazinger and F/Nazca Saatchi & Saatchi worked together in a video to promote the D&AD Awards. The film features the recording process of six musical/poetic pieces to promote the event. “One afternoon I received a call from a great friend of mine, André Faria, member of Aldo The Band from Brazil. He had a project with F/Nazca to produce six promo pieces for the D&D Awards and needed a poet. I introduced him to my fiend Dru Barnes, a NY singer and Grammy nominee. The rest is history” he said. “They recorded at the StrangeWeather studios in Greenpoint and we decided to film a short making of the process that ended attracting the attention of F/Nazca to use it as part of the awards’ promotion.” The video entitled Every Pixel Counts, talks about the relevance of today’s small things using the poetic phrase: Tiny is the new huge. Under the direction of Dazinger, Evil Twin was responsible for the sound production; André Faria and Murilo Faria were the Songwriters; Milos Jacimovic, the Director of Photography, and Nicolas Santa, did the production. André Faria y Murilo Faria were also the Executive Producers; Vicente Staropoli, Editor; The Mill, the color grading; and Damien Van Der Cruyssen, the colorist.
