Somos TV Negotiates with NCTC the Distribution of its Channels

(Maribel Ramos-Weiner, Baltimore). During The Independent Show, taking place at the Baltimore Convention Center, José Antonio Espinal, COO of Somos TV, said to PRODU that they are currently in negotiations with the National Cable Television Cooperative (NCTC) and the American Cable Association (ACA) to add their channels, VeneMovies and Semillitas, to some of their affiliate systems.“For us at Somos TV it is very important to be here at The Independent Show. We’re about to close a deal with NCTC and, given the growth of the Hispanic population in the US, there are plenty of opportunities with the small- and medium-size cable systems in the country. The distribution of our channels VeneMovies and Semillitas is growing. We are working hard to continue expanding the business and are thrilled to be here,” said Espinal.Espinal indicated they have already launched through cable operators affiliated to NCTC, like RCN.
