WAPA Television is considered the most trusted source of news in Puerto Rico

WAPA Television was named the most trusted source of news in Puerto Rico by a substantial margin over any other news outlet on the Island, according to a recent poll conducted by Gaither International, a Caribbean’s market research company, in conjunction with Caribbean Business, the leading business newspaper in the Caribbean.According to the poll, 29% of Puerto Ricans considered WAPA Television their preferred news outlet, followed by the local Univision and Telemundo affiliates (17% and 13%, respectively).WAPA Television has the largest news-gathering team in Puerto Rico, producing more than 30 hours a week of local news, all of which is transmitted live in the continental U.S. on WAPA America. WAPA America is viewed in approximately 3.5 million homes nationwide on major cable, satellite and Telco providers.
