British hit Baby Jake premieres on CBeebies in US

CBeebies, the BBC’s preschool channel, announces the arrival in the US Hispanic market of its recent hit Baby Jake, premiering January 9, Monday through Friday at 7am CST, with repetition of the episode at 2pm.The new series, a mix of live action and computer animation and starring an adorable 10-month old baby, brings its fantastic adventures to the channel’s Tiempo de Despertar (Wake Up) block, an active, exciting and colorful space that inspires kids to start the new day full of energy.Produced by Billy Macqueen, one of the leading creative minds in children’s television and creator of the successful series Hi-Fi, Baby Jake is the story of the infant hero, his parents, and his nine brothers and sisters, who live in a windmill. Darrall Macqueen Production produces Baby Jake for CBeebies. The series is produced by Fiona Robinson and written by Dave Ingham. Maddy Darrall is producer and Billy Macqueen executive producer.
