Univision announces perfomers for the 24th annual Premio Lo Nuestro latin music awards

Univision Network announced the initial list of international entertainers who will take center stage during Premio Lo Nuestro 2012, latin music awards. Hosted by Jacqueline Bracamontes and Eduardo Santamarina, both Mexican actors.Premio Lo Nuestro 2012 will air live from the American Airlines Arena in Miami Thursday, February 16th from 8pm to 11pm. The first round of artist that are confirmed includes bachata sensation Prince Royce, Latin Grammy Award-winning Mexican pop trio Reik, Spanish singer-songwriter Shaila Dúrcal, Mexican music star Gerardo Ortíz, Alejandra Guzmán who will sing with Moderatto and Pitbull will perform for the first time with American singer Chris Brown. The awards show’s 24th installment will also showcase first-time television single debuts from Larry Hernández, Luis Fonsi, Prince Royce, Reik, Shaila Durcal, Tito el Bambino and Tejano/Norteño genre music group Intocable. The night will continue when Gloria Trevi presents the world premieres of her song, Gloria, and when Romeo Santos, debuts his bachata single Mi santa. Premio Lo Nuestro features nominees in 35 categories, representing Latin music’s most popular genres, including pop, tropical, regional Mexican, rock/alternative and urban. The night reaches an all-time high as winners in the renowned categories are announced: Artist of the Year, Video of the Year, and Collaboration of the Year.
