Oritel and Don Francisco to award Emilio Azcárraga Jean the Grand Order of Solidarity

The TV personality Don Francisco along with Oritel (Organización Internacional de Teletones) will honor Emilio Azcárraga Jean, president of the Televisa Group and the founder of the Fundación Teletón México, by awarding him the Grand Order of Solidarity (Gran Orden de Solidaridad). The award recognizes Jean’s work and contributions benefitting the rehabilitation of kids and young adults with disabilities. It will be presented at a tribute dinner on March 21 at the Fontainebleau Hotel in Miami Beach. “I feel deeply honored with this award and I accept it in the name of all those who work for Oritel, a continuous act of love” Jean expressed. “With more than 80 million people with disabilities currently living in the region, this defiant reality without a doubt should make us reflect the necessity to promote, integrate and generate major efforts to better the quality of life of these individuals”.
