Univision appoints Laura Molen executive VP of network sales

Before Univision, Molen was senior vice president, Strategic Partnerships for VH1 Ad Sales

Laura Molen has been named executive VP of Network Sales of Univision, reporting to David Lawenda, president of Advertising Sales and Marketing. She is taking the place of Maelia Macin, a 20-year veteran who is leaving the company to move to Hourston, Texas, and spend more time with her family. “Laura is an inspirational leader who brings 25 years of success in media sales and marketing. Her long-term, trusted relationships in the client and agency worlds will be invaluable as we work with the advertising community to effectively engage with Hispanic consumers to deliver growth,” Lawenda said.Before Univision, Molen was senior vice president, Strategic Partnerships for VH1 Ad Sales and Marketing at MTV Networks, a unit of Viacom. She was responsible for leading her team to cross-platform solutions and strategies to bring advertisers into original programming.
