María Antonieta Collins presents special Ya viene: Elevando los estándares educativos on Univision

As part of Univision’s multi-platform education initiative, Es el momento (The Moment is Now), the network will air a one-hour special titled, Ya viene: Elevando los estándares educativos (It’s coming: Elevating educational standards). In this informative program, renowned reporter María Antonieta Collins will spotlight the state-led initiative Common Core Standards, which provides students across the country with uniform skills and knowledge necessary to ensure success in higher education and in the workforce.The special will provide awareness to parents on significant changes in teaching and learning that their children will be experiencing in the near future and the role they will play. The special debuts Saturday, June 23 at 2pm.
